We are delighted to announce that Vineet Raj Kapoor, the Founder of SXILL & Chandigarh Design School, conducted a full-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Design and Innovation” at Thapar University. This intensive program was aimed at equipping faculty members with the latest insights, tools, and techniques in design thinking and innovation.

The session covered a wide range of topics, from fostering creativity and implementing design processes to innovative problem-solving strategies that can be applied in the academic setting. Kapoor, with his extensive expertise in design education, engaged the faculty members in hands-on activities, case studies, and discussions that encouraged them to think beyond conventional methods and embrace new approaches to teaching design.

The Faculty Development Program is part of Kapoor’s ongoing commitment to promoting design education and helping educators stay at the forefront of emerging trends in the field. His session focused not only on teaching design but also on creating an innovative mindset that can inspire students to become forward-thinking designers and problem solvers.

This event is yet another milestone in the journey of Chandigarh Design School and SXILL, as they continue to push the boundaries of design education and foster a culture of innovation.

We are grateful to Thapar University for hosting this event and look forward to more such collaborations in the future as we work together to shape the future of design education.
