Chandigarh, February 2025 – SXILL celebrated its legacy of nurturing creative careers with a special Alumni Networking Meetup – ‘Beyond Pixels: My Circle of Trust’, marking 29 years of academic excellence. The gathering brought together 35–40 alumni, spanning from the founding batch of 1997 to the recent 2020s, in a vibrant post-COVID reunion.
The celebration commemorated the 29th anniversary of SXILL’s academic journey, which began in 1996, with the first ceremonial havan held on 23rd February 1997, blessed by the presence of Late Dr. S.P. Singh, Chairman of University Business School.

Vineet Raj Kapoor, Indian IDT Expert at WorldSkills and Founder of SXILL, remarked,
“We celebrate our students’ journeys every year on this day. The ANM is not just about reconnecting—it’s about building new partnerships and reliving shared memories. It’s heartening to see alumni from all decades show up with such enthusiasm.”
The evening featured group networking activities, followed by a lively anecdotal introduction round, where alumni opened up about their success stories, crediting the guidance and lifelong mentorship provided by the SXILL team. Many shared how they still seek personal and professional advice from the founders.
Neelu Kapoor, IndiaSkills Graphic Design Jury and Co-Founder of SXILL, added,
“Our students are a living part of our journey. There’s not a day that passes without us remembering some moment, some name. We’ve grown and learned through our students.”
From heartwarming reunions to discovering fresh collaborations, the event was a reminder of the powerful community that SXILL continues to build.
