SXILL Founder Vineet Raj Kapoor Delivers FDP on E-Content and MOOCs at Maharaja Agrasen University

Chandigarh, January 15, 2025Vineet Raj Kapoor, Founder of SXILL, led a highly engaging Faculty Development Program (FDP) at Maharaja Agrasen University, Baddi, on January 15, 2025. The FDP, titled “E-Content Development and MOOCs,” was organized by Maharaja Agrasen University in collaboration with the Electronics & ICT Academy, NIT Patna, and ran from 14–20 January 2025.

Vineet Raj Kapoor delivered two impactful sessions focused on:

  1. Engaging Students in MOOCs and Online Learning Environments.
  2. Slides and Graphics Design for Effective Presentations.

In addition, he provided an impromptu workshop on using interactive tools like Mentimeter and AHASlides to enhance online teaching experiences.

 


Objective and Impact of the FDP

Dr. Pradeep Walia, the workshop coordinator, explained the FDP’s goal:
“The program aims to equip faculty with advanced skills in creating high-quality e-content and MOOCs, emphasizing digital pedagogy and innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.”

During his sessions, Vineet Raj Kapoor, India’s Lead Expert for Industrial Design Technology at WorldSkills, shared invaluable techniques to captivate online learners and create visually engaging MOOC presentations.

Kapoor commented:
“This FDP was a fantastic opportunity to bridge the gap between theory and practice in India’s higher education system. As a UX Design and Design Thinking trainer since 2014, I understand the challenges educators face and am excited to share my insights.”

He also teased his upcoming book, “SOLVXD: Think in Steps,” which promises to offer practical guidance for educators and designers.
