Chandigarh, January 2025 – As part of its commitment to promote creative and tech-driven careers, SXILL, in collaboration with iXDA Chandigarh, co-presented World Interaction Design Day (iXDD) at major educational campuses in Chandigarh.
Events were successfully held at PGGC Sector 46 on January 24 and Government Polytechnic for Women, Sector 10 on January 29, with a combined attendance of nearly 500+ students and faculty. These events were a part of global iXDD celebrations and aimed at demystifying careers in UX Design, Interaction Design, and Animation.
Vineet Raj Kapoor, iXDA Local Leader and Founder of SXILL, led the sessions with insightful talks on the role of Interaction Design in shaping user experiences and how it fits into broader creative career paths. He also touched on how platforms like iXDA work globally to spread awareness of design careers.
Mangat Chauhan, Production Head at Virtualsoft and a mentor at SXILL, shared his knowledge of the animation production process, helping students understand the career possibilities across the entire animation pipeline.
Kapoor further guided the attendees through customized career roadmaps, helping them connect their passions—be it UX Design, Storytelling, Mimicry, or Game Design—to industry opportunities. Through examples of global visionaries like Steve Jobs, he inspired students to pursue meaningful careers fueled by creativity and decision-making.
