Xiamen, China, May 2024 – It was a moment of pride for SXILL Founder Vineet Raj Kapoor to deliver the Keynote Address at the prestigious BRICS Auditorium of Skills Development and Technology Innovation Forum on 25 May 2024. The event was followed by the 2nd Standard Formulation Seminar on BRICS Technology and Skill Standardization held on 26–27 May 2024, organized by the BRICS Business Council Skills Development, Applied Technology, and Innovation Working Group, under the aegis of the BRICS Academy of Skills Development and Technology Innovation (Xiamen), China.

The forum highlighted key themes, including:

• The rise of cross-border e-commerce and its role in integrating industry and education.
• Talent competitiveness improvement across BRICS nations.
• Fostering sustainable cooperation to promote development in BRICS countries.

Keynote Highlights by Vineet Raj Kapoor

Vineet Raj Kapoor, a WorldSkills IDT Lead Expert representing India and Founder of SXILL and Chandigarh Design School, shared his thoughts on the collective progress of BRICS nations. In his speech, Kapoor emphasized:

1. The importance of collaboration among BRICS nations to achieve sustainable development goals.
2. The role of skill development in poverty alleviation.
3. The potential of UI/UX Design skills to address global challenges effectively.

Speaking about the opportunity, Kapoor said:
“Participating as a Keynote Speaker in a BRICS event is a privilege. The idea of working together for a sustainable future resonated deeply with me. Collaboration and knowledge-sharing are vital, and I believe in the philosophy of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’—the world is one family.”
